Eric's Wunderkammer

From my early childhood on i’ve been fascinated by stories. After school, when i wasn’t kicking a ball in our courtyard or in our street (those were the glorious days one could still kick a ball in the street without ending up in an emergency unit), i was to be found in a corner with a book. Later came the paintings and other objects, sometimes gathered while traveling. The fascination of beauty. In Antwerp (‘The Museum’) we’re so fortunate to live in a Belle Époque house surrounded by beauty, and to share the books, paintings and objects with our guests. In my ‘Wunderkammer’ you’ll find a short, rotating selection of 10 of them. I can show them ‘live’ to you when you visit us; some of the works/objects are displayed in Ghent (Schopenhauer). Some can also be bought, others i can’t possibly part with, and so they are ‘for your eyes only’;). I feel very privileged to share the beauty with you, our guests.

Only a part of the books/paintings/objects can be shown here, so i warmly invite you to our Facebook page where a lot more is shown and written about my Wunderkammer, and art in general.
