Well- allow yourself to escape Time for a couple days… : our 1820 neo-classicist family home is located in the historical center, in Ghent’s artists and antiques quarter ‘Rive Gauche’, in a carfree street along the water. It harbours 2 spacious suites, offering a delightful, fresh, homemade breakfast, served in the room.

In the Honeymoon suite you stay and sleep surrounded by books and art works by beginning talents (studying in the nearby art schools) as well as by established artists. Some of the works in the room and in the windows are for sale, so in a way you’ll be staying in an art gallery. Bath and bed are ‘Japanese style’ built in the floor, and there’s a kitchenette.

Our Wellness (‘Athma’) suite features a private hammam (Turkish steam bath), and a small walled city garden.

Some of the works of art and objects in the house and in the windows at the street side are for sale, so in a way you’ll be staying in an art gallery, surrounded by art objects.
